I want to get the contact information to the Frogs by Wednesday or Thursday of this week, so if you are participating in the Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day Blogfest, get me your info IF:
1 - You want to be in the running for the free gifts from the gift pool. We can't get them to you if we don't have your info, and with 116 bogs currently participating (and probably more joining in before the 17th), I'm not going to be tracking you down for that info after the fact. It's just too confusing with way too many moving parts. I'm trying to reduce my chances of rolling a fumble ;)
2 - You want advance notice of anything else that is linked to this blogfest. I suspect the Frogs will have a trick or two (of the nice kind) up their sleeves for the 17th. The only way they can let you know is via email.
If you don't care about the free swag and aren't worried about advance notice of possible cool stuff, don't worry about the email.
So, this is what I need:
An email sent to tenkarsDOTtavernATgmailDOTcom
A subject heading stating something like "S&W Appreciation Day"
your blog's name and link in the body of the email
your first name - 'cause we got it like that ;)
let me know if you don't what me to forward your info to The Frogs, in which case I'll act as a filter back and forth. The option is there for the few who might want it. Chance of me screwing up? Small but measurable. I'm juggling water ballons with a Dex of 6 :)
If you need to reach me for anything related to the S&W Appreciation Day Blogfest, you can use the above email or reach me via my Google Profile. If you need to reach me about anything, you can use the same methods. I'm fairly easy to find. If you are looking for a response and don't get one within 24 hrs, ping me again - what i read on my phone in the middle of the night is often forgotten come morning...
I'll be putting the S&W Appreciation Day Blog Roll up on the 2,000 Coppers blog in the next few days. I would have it here, but it was giving a false positive over the weekend by Chrome's security - Firefox found no issues. Go figure.
It's really that simple. The 17th should be a lot of fun for bloggers, readers and the OSR in general. Game on!
