I also need to be able to access those pieces from any device.
Therein lies the joys and strength of Google Documents, cloud computing at it's best. A free office app that is accessible anywhere you have Internet access? Priceless!

I might also suggest Dropbox (www.dropbox.com)for online storage. You start with 2gb of space for free. I use this quite a bit for access between my Mac, Windows, and iPhone machines. Sometimes I use with clients (I am a Graphic Designer for print and web) to download compositions or final design pieces. I like how I may open only one folder for someone, which allows me to keep the rest of my work private.
ReplyDeleteI've been using dropbox for a while. I didn't fully appreciate it until i got my ipad. I'm amazed it it free ;)
