There is a very unpleasant cartoon out there with leather fetishist dwarves living an alternative lifestyle with the kicker line "Well, why did you think we called it Goly Hole Dwarven Mine" ?
ReplyDeleteTruthfully the term is completely legit in application to mining and makes plenty of sense and wasn't in poor taste as the similar term hadn't crept into the general awareness at the time of the adventures publication. It's still pretty damned funny today.
I'm thinking of ways to turn this into a contest with some prizes. Not the Glory Hole, but the poorly named gaming product... more to come :)
