I'm a gamer that grew up in the analog world. There are times that I forget some of the advantages of the digital world, and if you are a Swords & Wizardry gamer, there is a HUGE advantage waiting for you at the Swords & Wizardry SRD site. They are the same folks that run the Pathfinder SRD site, so you know they do a good job.
What I didn't realize before, but I do know, is that they have the complete rules S&W rules up at the S&W SRD site. Yep, even the classes that you can only find in the "Complete" S&W rulebook, such as: Assassins, Druids, Monks, Paladins and Rangers. Hey, maybe they should grab the Bard classes published in the last issue of Knockspell to the list.
Yep, I found my new go to site for when I'm working on my campaign, as clicking hyperlinks on a website is much more efficient than trying to flip through a PDF. I love my PDFs when reading them on a tablet, but like them much less on my computer screen.
The reality is, you can send a new player to the S&W SRD site and they'd learn the game with less than 30 minutes of web surfing. That being said, the Initiative and Order of Battle section taught me loads that I've overlooked in the past. Damn, selective reading while going through my PDF and "dead tree" copies of the rules. Still, a nice find as I get ready for the Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day.
It's at the top of my OSR online research / reference websites. I'd look at the Pathfinder one, but I think I can't handle that much "crunch" in my diet ;)
