It's shortly after 9 am here in NYC as I start reading through all of the Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day blog posts. Remember, the blogroll is up at 2000coppers.com. The blogroll is where I am getting these links from...

Roll to Carouse!  - Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day - Live Gaming! - Become the great adventurer that children ask their mothers and fathers to tell them stories about at bedtime, whose name warriors yell aloud as they charge into battle, who men and women think about while lying with their lovers, or, become a murder hobo........Welcome to Swords & Wizardry!

Quickly, Quietly, Carefully - Magic Fucking Sword - So. I just finished the illustration for my Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day cover. I'm pretty pleased with it.

Worlds Galore - Elf Spells In many games and campaign settings, elves are written to be these magical creatures, but the mechanics often fit more of a ranger than magic-user. As a inspired by Basic D&D where the elf "class" could cast spells, I decided to add in a special spell list that only elves can access...

The Chronicles of Ganeth - Swords & Wizardry Epic Post of Appreciation! - Design Notes: What follows is a collection of elven subspecies, loosely based on myth and legend. It of course will become a part of my own home brewed campaign setting of Ganth. I did remove the special characters from the scandinavian and germanic words, more because I honestly have no idea how to correctly pronounce them, and because chances are when I further adapt these races to Ganth I may rearrange their spellings...

Realms of Chirak - Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day: The Rising Dark Campaign Setting - Well, it's April 17th, and that means that Erik Tenkar's masterful execution of Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day is underway! I've been mulling over what to do for this event, and settled on the following. Here, my S&W cohorts, is a complimentary copy of The Rising Dark Campaign Setting, a short exploratory campaign region I worked up for S&W a while back and published. This download shall be available from 12:01 AM April 17th until I get around to taking it down.

Dizzy's Dungeon - Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day! - Here it! At long last we get to spend 24 hours sharing our love and appreciation of the wonderful Swords & Wizardry retro-clone!
So I've been rattling my mind with what to do for today for weeks. Honestly I couldn't decide, but ultimately, I decided that I would just share my love of this game, and two of the incarnations specifically with everyone.

Gamers & Grognards - The Old School Sorcerer, Swords & Wizardry Style - With the release of Swords & Wizardry Complete through Frog God Games, I feel that it is high time that I release a version of my vision of the sorcerer for that wonderful system.

Reverend Dak Dot Blogspot - Swords, Wizardry and Firearms - Today is S&W Appreciation Day and following these announcements is my submission.. As promised, I'm giving away 5 print copies of a zine that will be based on the stuff below, but a bit more expanded! All you have to do is reply with your comments, hate, rage or, what I'd prefer, your idea to add to the supplement.
