Planning for This Coming Saturday's Post Funnel DCC RPG Session
So, my players will each need to pick a character to level up and proceed to the next adventure. I need to figure out what I'll be using in the next day or so, so I can set it up on Roll20 in advance.
I'll be running the next session on my 13" laptop as opposed to my 27" computer screen I have at home - which is something I may need to keep in mind when I choose the next adventure. At least it will be 6 PCs or so and not 18 zero levels running around ;)
At the moment I'm bouncing between Doom of the Savage Kings and People of the Pit. I could also use one of the Brave Halfling Appendix N Adventures, so long as I tweak whatever I use a wee bit. They seem awfully short. I could aslo run Portal Under the Stars, but I ran a handful of the current party through that last summer using the ACKS rules.
Or I could have the delve into the Sunken City.
Decisions, decisions...
Open for ideas ;)
Doom of the Savage Kings is excellent.
ReplyDeleteChoosing from all the available options has proven to be the toughest decision for me. :) Now that I have a public group as well as a private, I can run a few in sequence that seem unassociated, then pull them together with a common thread later on.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think the best non-Goodman Games adventure on the market is The Ooze Pits of Jonas Gralk by the Purple Sorcerer...it's pretty self contained so if you want the skip the whole Sunken City angle you can with no change other than how the PCs get there (which is any swampy area - so you can follow up with more Sunken City, the awesome Lair of the Mist Men, or the Cobtraps might fit the theme nicely).
ReplyDeleteDoom of the Savage Kings has been my favorite of all the DCC modules released
ReplyDeleteHow many zero levels made it through the funnel?
ReplyDeleteof the 18 in the funnel, I believe 13 survived.
DeleteCombination of careful play, lucky rolls and the BBEG fumbling and incapacitating for 2 rounds helped i think ;)
