Google Plus Simplifies URLs - About F'ing Time

I hated sharing my G+ link that led to me, as it was a huge jumble of numbers.

    I really hope I don't now have to update all the links to my profile around the web as that would be very annoying.

    My only issue with it is that you have to have a mobile phone to sign up. I keep running into reasons why having one would be convenient and/or necessary, so I guess it is time for me to join the 21st century :D
