Reddit drives amazing traffic. Sadly, I suspect its not quality traffic. Still, it's a fun ride and I've already hit twice my previous high for daily traffic and there's still 3 1/2 hours to go.
Go figure ;)

That's happened to me before as well. Somebody linked to my 'Be A Better Player' posts on Reddit and the traffic shot through the roof. It could last for a couple days or so before it dies out but watching those traffic spikes is nice.

ReplyDeleteMy biggest spike was from BoardGameGeek, when I criticized FFG's iPad in-store add kiosk program.

ReplyDeleteA mention in Johnn Four's _Roleplaying Tips_ drove my site to about 6 times it's previous peak one day, a little more than 12 times my regular traffic.
