Sorry if this is a double post. For some reason this posting software never submits my first effort.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. I've been meaning to take my BFRPG from PDF to hardcopy for a while now and just never did. This is a great time to do it. Grabbed a couple of the adventure compilations what I was at it. Can't wait to read them!
I highly second this recommendation. You can own the entire BFRPG line, in attractive and sturdy print formats, for less than most single game books cost. I can't recommend these highly enough.
ReplyDeleteA great way to start a new campaign is to combine BF1 Morgansfort and JN1 The Chaotic Caves. The two adventure series can be easily interleaved and give you lots of stuff for your lower-level characters to keep them busy. I suggest moving on from there to BF2 Fortress, Tomb, and Tower, then JN2 Monkey Isle; AA1 Adventure Anthology 1 works great as a source of in-between adventures. I'm really pleased that, thanks to all our contributors, we now have enough material in print for a campaign from first level up to seventh or so, and with our upcoming Strongholds of Sorcery and Saga of the Giants multimodules (due sometime in 2015) we're working to provide material for higher-level groups as well.
ReplyDelete... I'm developing a suspicion that the price decreases are based on our sales figures... The RPG Primer hasn't sold much, and the price on it is not reduced, which supports that premise, while the Core Rules are way cheap and our top seller. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteLoving the adventure compilation Chris. This is some great stuff! Thanks for the tip Tenkar!
