"We were not aware of any such controversy before we booked the event and will be vetting our speakers more carefully in the future."
They have been deleting the comments on the page because they are a new community theater group and this error in judgement could cost them all chance at future public funding. I feel for them. I checked them out, they are a new group made up of what seems to be pretty nice people who just didn't know any better until things were already in motion.
Jolly, I contacted them directly rather than via their wall. We had a nice discussion. The only people in attendance were members of the theater company's board so no members of the public shelled out cash, none were interested it seems.
The theater company is new, still learning the ropes, and getting their feet under them. This was a big learning experience for them.
If he is under representation I would be stunned...and thinking that someone is finally fleecing #ConManKen
ReplyDeleteHe seems to be in tight with that community theater. They delete any suggestion of googling Ken's name — and do so rather quickly.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he *IS* the community theater.

wow. did they actually post that?
DeleteAnd the theater company actually posted that on their site? I'm shocked how that even made it past through some sort of approval committee.

Yeah I noticed today I got a response from them as well. Good to know they are aware now.
DeleteWheres the video? Was it taken down already?
ReplyDeleteI think so, first Jay. I can't get it to work either.
DeleteHave to play it on a desktop website, doesn't really work on mobile.
DeleteHonestly save yourself the 1.5min and go do something productive instead. Like cleaning out earwax or watching the grass grow. This video was awful.
