Product of the Year
Veins of the Earth (Lamentations of the Flame Princess) Times like this is when retirement sucks.
Voting this year will take place from July 11 to July 21.
Don't forget to vote Frog God Games as Fan Favorite Publisher. Vote early and vote often. Well, I mean, get your friends, family and pets with an intelligence of 3 or higher to vote. Don't submit multiple votes yourself. That would be wrong. Neither Frog God Games nor The Tavern advocate ballot stuffing. Heck, the Frogs have no nominations and neither does The Tavern. Don't vote. See if I care.
Grumble... Grumble... Get off my lawn ya damn kids and take your peeing dog with you!
Age of Ravens is a good blog and has been chuggin away as long as we have.

Gnome Stew is fine, but it wins Gold or Silver every year. They have a dozen or so writers and graphic designers. It would be nice to see one of the little guys winning.
I agree. Age of Ravens is a very good blog. Speaking as the person who owns and manages Gnome Stew, we'd be very happy to see others win. We're not going to hold ourselves back from being in the voting pool if that option is open to us, but it wouldn't be a bad thing if perennial content producers like us and Ken and Robin (the ones who win perpetually) were held back for a year to build other audiences and keep the field strong. This is my personal opinion, but it guides my decision when we point out the other competitors in the blog category in our ENnies pitch.
ReplyDeleteI want us to share our audience with other blogs, and I other blogs and podcasts to be acknowledged for their awesome content in the ways that help them increase their audiences and win awards so that their audiences come to us over time. If that means my blog doesn't make it into the ENnies the year after it wins a gold, that's fine on my end. - John Arcadian
