I can only speak for my 2 stores. But #1 is DnD; #2 is Call of Cthulhu; #3 is Pathfinder #4 is Star Wars WEG Reprint; #5 is Savage Worlds. I haven't sold a copy of Starfinder since last October.
ReplyDeleteGenesys is essentially their Star Wars funky dice resolution mechanic with the Star Wars license peeled off and open to whatever you want to do with it.

ReplyDeleteIt's a univeral system based on the Fantasy Flight narrative dice first used in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, then used in the various Star Wars games. They also have a setting out based on the world all the Fantasy Flight games are set in (Descent, Runebound, etc).
FFGs attempt at WFRP is why I won't touch FFG RPGs. Shame they got Lo5R.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see a setting based on their LCG cyberpunk setting.
ReplyDeleteMy local FLGS used to be Pathfinder, and then D&D5E slowly became more and more popular.
ReplyDeleteCurrently it seems to be solidly D&D5E with Starfinder in second place, then maybe a little Pathfinder and a little Star Wars.
