Every year for almost a decade I ran an annual Castle Ravenloft on the week of Halloween. Good times.
ReplyDeleteOld school D&D run properly is a horror game as it is, don’t you think?
ReplyDeleteOccasionally, but not this year.
ReplyDeleteI run an rpg called Little Fears around Halloween. That's the only time I run that particular game, though I've been asked to do a "Christmas Special" of LF this year.
ReplyDeleteRunning one tonight on my Twitch channel...The Haunt 2.... https://www.twitch.tv/praetorsrejects
ReplyDeleteOmw to running one with Classic Traveller tonight! Call of Cthulhu was last year. I usually try and do something every year.

Funny you should mention this, as I'm just going into the last day of funding an adventure especially for Halloween, where backers get the first draft along with six pre-gens, the day before. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/645319106/the-road-to-hell
ReplyDeleteI run the DCC Halloween adventure each year. Finishing up this year's module tomorrow night!
ReplyDeleteI've run I6 Ravenloft a few times and played in some themed sessions around this time of year. I quite enjoy themed scenarios honestly. Thanks for the mention on the podcast, btw! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteMy D&D game has been cancelled for the past three weeks because too many players can't show up. Hopefully it'll get back on track next month. BUT... most of my players don't like horror... which is kinda ironic given what TSR and White Wolf mostly paid me to work on Back in the Day.
