ReplyDeleteHey Erik, you sound really good on the podcast, glad to see you are recovering!
ReplyDeleteSo, excuse me for not following this all (I'm scattershot at best) I am aware of the general story - but confused on how Luke would file NOW (March) instead of years ago - any clue how come this would be delayed? I again don't follow this but my vibe was that blood between them was really bad (e.g., the quote that was purportedly by Gail on Luke and the project) - so was it lost, misplaced or stolen? I REALLY hope it is a strong case, I'd love to see someone else in charge of the IP. Sucks the mag was killed, sucks more that things like TLG's Castle Zagyg had to be destroyed etc due to her. Mean stuff and SHORTSIGHTED on her part even if she owned it. His IP will have its strongest draw among the aging fans... best be used sooner than later.
Not going anywhere. Much too late. Raises too many questions as to why the long delay if any legitimacy.
ReplyDeleteRead the first half of the title of this post out loud in your best dying Yoda impression.
ReplyDeleteCan't speak for Wisconsin, but in Minnesota the statute of limitations to contest a will runs in one year from the date of death. I very much doubt Wisconsin allows more than a decade. There is a reason we abbreviate statute of limitations as SOL. Whoever filed this is SOL.
ReplyDeleteWhich is why I was wondering how it came to light ... "misplaced"/"stolen" (and if stolen, why not destroyed?) - cos was hoping there was a nefarious reason it was prevented from appearing before.
