This will make for an amazing addition to my table, thanks Erik!
ReplyDeleteOh hey, that looks pretty cool. Please include me in the drawing.
ReplyDeleteLove S&W; met Matt Finch at the first north Texas RPG con!
ReplyDeleteSounds good - thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because it reminds me of my childhood in the early 80s.
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because of the diversity of games that it has birthed.
ReplyDeleteWhy I love the OSR - material like this
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because it let me find my childhood again.
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because it got me into trying to make my own RPG.
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to use these while playing at an actual table!
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR party because of the nostalgia of playing AD&D 2e as a teenager, and partly because OSR games are lean - efficient at delivering fun gameplay.
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because it is filled with good people who produce good stuff and are willing to take that good and apply it when and where it is needed.
ReplyDeleteStarting a new campaign with a new group in January. This would be a good fit.
ReplyDeleteThe OSR brought back a lot of the feeling I had when I was young and played D&D. Not really a time machine, but it's great to re-live some of the things I experienced in my youth.
ReplyDeleteWhy I love the OSR: All sorts of great material available, and only partly hidden amongst the not as great material. (which is which is up to you)
ReplyDeleteLove playing the games of my youth
ReplyDeleteI love how fast play moves. Less time spent looking up rules, and more time having fun!
ReplyDeleteSimplicity, flexibility and hearkening back to my youth.
ReplyDeleteI love S&W, I named my children after it
ReplyDeleteA theme 'Why I love the OSR' I discovered the game Labyrinth Lord in '06, and went down the rabbit hole into Osric and S&W along with countless other RPG which evoke a feeling of Roleplaying as it was meant to be? I love demo games- where I am able to introduce the game to new players.
ReplyDeleteIn a gaming culture that seeminglying requires players to be heroes from the get go OSR requires you to EARN it.
ReplyDeleteI love the OSR because there are plenty of items always coming down the pipeline that I can actually use in my 1st ed game!
ReplyDeleteBecause it got me into designing some other really cool games
ReplyDeleteI love OSR because of the variety of games and adventures, while keeping the simplicity of the rules.
