GURPs 3e is the edition I cut my GURPs teeth on and is the one in which most of my source books are powered. If you are interested in GURPs as a system, 3e is possibly the longest-lived and has fantastic support. 13 bucks for the GURPs 3e Core rules and two Compendiums is a fine deal.
